College application assistance should never be as simple as giving students a list of schools and then reviewing their essays. Applying to college is a long, rewarding/painful process that, really, begins the day you walk into high school in 9th grade. Students must be ready to answer difficult questions (the University of Chicago may ask "What is x?"), describe their truly unusual achievements (at least TEN of them), ask teachers for glowing recommendations, prepare a resume, and so much more. We are with students through the whole process: help them to create projects and experiences about which they can beautifully write, choose the right programs for them, work with the parents on FAFSA and CSS, turn in their best application at the right time, wait for the acceptances, appeal financial awards, and help make the best choice for the family. Then, we bring flowers to graduation and watch as our graduates flourish.
